    Atlantic Millwrights offers welding and fabrication services that adhere to OSHA standards. We service many industries including waste to energy facilities, power plants, cogeneration facilities, plastics and printing, food & beverage, rolling mills, paper industry, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, institutional, rubber, sheeting and building materials industry. We provide different types of welding such as GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW and FCAW.
    GMAW
    Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) is an automatic / semi-automatic welding process in which we feed shielding gas and a continuous, consumable wire electrode through a welding gun
    GTAW-
    The major advantage of our Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is the ability to control amperage, or heat input, with a high degree of precision, especially when using it in mechanized applications.
    SMAWAtlantic Millwrights offers Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), referred to as stick welding or covered electrode welding which is among the most widely used welding processes. Electrode used in the process provides and regulates its own flux. SMAW has lower sensitivity to wind and drafts than gas shielded welding processes
    SAW
    Atlantic Millwrights offers Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), a high quality, very high deposition rate welding process that is commonly used to join plates. Extremely high deposition rates are possible. It requires a continuously fed consumable flux cored electrode. The molten weld and the arc zone are protected from atmospheric contamination by submerging under a blanket of granular fusible flux. When molten, the flux becomes conductive, and provides a current path between the electrode and the work. Welds produced are uniform, sound, ductile and corrosion resistant
    FCAW
    Atlantic Millwrights offers Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) which is commonly used for high deposition rate welding process. This welding adds the benefits of flux to the welding simplicity of MIG welding. Flux cored welding has good weld appearance.

    We have in-house equipment such as Propane portable welding, Mig, Tig & Stick pack of welders, torch set up, plasma machines, arc gouging, carbon arc and burning bar equipment

    We also have an in-house service machine shop with milling machines, lathes, a 200 ton hydraulic press, radial arm drilling and a 17 ton overhead crane. Atlantic Millwrights also provides road trailers that are fully stocked with various equipment and supplies needed onsite for larger projects, anywhere in the United States.

    Our health and safety program coordinator provides assistance for sight safety inspections and also for training the employees in the latest OSHA standards. Atlantic Millwrights has a written safety program and an ongoing OSHA safety training that includes the standard 10 hour OSHA safety course. We also work with our customer specific needs for different safety environments
